ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team will face Cabrini College in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship match on Saturday, November 9 at 5:00 PM.
The Knights defeated Notre Dame and Cairn, both by 3-0 scores, in the first round and semifinals, respectively, to advance their third consecutive Championship match.
Neumann and Cabrini have faced each other in the past two title matches as well, with each team winning one Championship.
The Knights are led by senior Katelin Kukletnz. She was named Capital One Academic All-District® Volleyball First Team as well as receiving CSAC first team honors. She set the career record for kills earlier this season and has 444 in 35 matches. Kuklentz also has 335 digs and 43 service aces.
Kelsey D'Imperio is second on the team with 322 kills and was named to the CSAC second team. The junior has notched 101 total blocks, 43 of which are solo. Julia Malseed has anchored the defense with 414 digs.
Action gets underway in Radnor, Pa. at 5:00 PM on Saturday. The winner will receive the CSAC automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
