ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell to SUNY-Cortland, 2-1, on Friday evening in ECAC West action.

Amanda Simpson put Neumann on the board just 21 seconds into the game. Meghan Power and Megan Russelo drew the assists.

The Red Dragons tied the game at the 7:21 mark of the second period. Cortland scored the game-winner 3:26 into the third period for the 2-1 win.

Julia Fair made 14 saves in net.

Neumann (1-8, 0-5 ECAC West) and Cortland will face-off again tomorrow afternoon. The puck is slated to drop at 3:00 PM.
