ASTON, Pa. – The No. 14 Neumann University men's ice hockey team wrapped up the regular season with a 4-2 win over Nazareth College on Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

Steve Gervais had two goals and an assist. Scott Elkow had two assists. Braely Torris made 27 saves in net.

After no scoring in the first period, the teams traded goals in the second period and came away tied at two.

S. Gervais scored his first goal of the game 2:42 into the period, off assists from Aaron Keaney and Dave Gervais. Nazareth answered with two goals to take a 2-1 advantage. Steve Low scored with 16 seconds left in the second to tie the game at one. S. Gervais and Elkow drew the assists.

S. Gervais scored the game-winning goal 5:01 into the third period. Brandon Gagne and Elkow had the assists. Jordan Zalba tallied an insurance goal at the 8:09 mark on the power play. Scott Farrell and Chris Bournazos had the assists.

Neumann (16-6-3, 8-6-1) will be the No. 3 seed in the playoffs and will host Nazareth in the first round of the ECAC West playoffs on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
