ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey defeated No. 5 Hobart College 3-1 on Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

The first period was uneventful and the teams remained scoreless after one.

Both teams netted a power play goal during the second period. Jordan Zalba put Neumann on the board 4:05 into the period. Scott Farrell and Craig Cowie assisted. The Statesmen tied the game at the 12:47 mark.

With time starting to wind down in regulation, Sean Croizer found the back of the net with 3:12 left on the clock. Jake Kratz and Harley Garrioch drew the assists. Just 19 seconds later, Aaron Keaney netted an insurance goal. Farrell picked up his second assist for the game while Andrew Love had the other.

Braely Torris had 32 saves in net for the Knights.

Neumann (14-6-3, 6-6-1 ECAC West) wraps up the regular season next weekend when it hosts Nazareth for a pair of conference games.
