ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Dickinson College 9-3 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.
Jess Harrell score two goals for the Knights. Kenya Woods also found the back of the net. Becca Wallace made 16 saves in net and Jillian DeFina had three defensive saves.
The Red Devils struck early, scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes. With no time left on the clock, the Knights broke the shutout on a penalty corner, for a 4-1 score heading into halftime.
Harrell scored her second goal in the 37th minute for a quick 4-2 game. Dickinson scored the next four goals to take back control of the game. Woods scored for the Knights in the 56th minute for the Knights third goal of the contest.
Neumann (2-5) will now take a breather until next Saturday when it travels to Rowan for a 2:00 PM start in non-conference action.
