BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Neumann University volleyball team split a pair of games at the Fall Fever Quad Match at Bridgewater on Saturday afternoon.

In the first match against Lebanon Valley, Neumann fell in five sets 3-2. The Knights took the first and third sets, 25-22 and 25-18. The Dutchmen took sets two and four 25-18, 25-19. In the final and deciding set, Lebanon Valley won 15-9 for the match.

Katelin Kuklentz had 20 kills and a .366 hitting percentage to lead the Knights offense. Kat Wolf handed out 35 assists. Elaina Shooster notched four service aces.

Julia Malseed anchored the Knights defense with 15 digs. Danielle Kwapisz, Kuklentz and Shooster each notched eight digs.

In the final match of the weekend, Neumann defeated Frostburg State in three sets, 3-0. The Knights took the sets 25-16, 25-14, 25-9.

Ashley Clark led the Knights with 10 kills while Wolf dished out 26 assists. Malseed came away with 10 digs.

Neumann (6-9) starts conference action on Thursday when it hosts Rosemont beginning at 7:00 PM.
