ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball fell in two close matches on Saturday afternoon in day two of the Buttermaker Tournament at Muhlenberg College.

In the first match of the day, the Knights fell to DeSales 3-0. Set scores were 27-25, 25-22 and 25-18.

In the last match of the afternoon, Neumann and Moravian battled in five set before the Greyhounds came away with the 3-2 win. Moravian took the first two sets, both 25-18. The Knights battled back to take set three 25-21 and set four 25-22. The Greyhounds came away with the win 15-12 in the fifth and deciding set.

Gianna Jones was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Neumann (2-4) will host the Knights Invitational next Friday and Saturday. The Knights open the tournament at 4:00 PM Friday against Eastern.
