ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Centenary College 72-51 on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Kevin Green hit five three-pointers for a game high 21 points. Mark Blount netted 17 points and Reggie Coleman added 11. Nine players contributed at least one point in the win.

Neumann started to make it move and pull away during the second part of the first half. Up by one, 14-13, the Knights went on a 12-3 run to take a 10 points advantage, 26-16. Neumann scored the final four points of the half, including a buzzer-beating layup by Coleman, for a 32-23 advantage after 20 minutes.

The Knights opened the second half on a 10-4 run to extend their lead to 15 points. A Green three-pointer midway through the half put the Knights up 19, 52-33. The Cyclones would get to within 12, 59-47, after connecting on two free throws, but would not get any closer.  Neumann would finish the game scoring 13 of the final 17 points for the 72-51 win.

Neumann (12-6, 7-4 CSAC) will host Cairn in conference action on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM.
