STAMFORD, Conn. – The Neumann University men's hockey team tied with Manhattanville College, 2-2, in ECAC West action on Friday evening.

The teams traded goals in the second and third periods en route to the tie score.

Johannes Sallila opened the scoring at the 5:35 mark of the second period. Kajon McKay and Anthony Pino tallied the assists. Manhattanville tied the game at one at the 12:21 mark.

Shayne Morrissey gave Neumann a 2-1 lead at the midway point of the third period. Mike Cauley and CJ Cruz drew the assists. The Valients knotted the score again, just 52 seconds later. The teams would play the rest of regulation and overtime scoreless for the 2-2 final.

Braely Torris made 35 saves in net for the Knights.

Neumann (7-8-4, 2-5-2 ECAC West) travels to Utica next weekend for two conference games. The puck is slated to drop at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings.
