ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University field hockey team blanked Cedar Crest 10-0 to wrap up the regular season in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Wednesday afternoon.

Lindsey Spatola led the Knights with three goals. Alexis Damask and Jessica Harrell each had a goal and two assists. Alexa McIntyre had a goal and an assist. Eight Knights overall found the back of the cage.

McIntyre opened the scoring for Neumann with a goal in the seventh minute. Three minutes later Gabriele Eisele scored her first goal of the year. Spatola netted her first goal of the game in the 27^th minute and the Knights held a 3-0 at halftime.

Spatola scored her second goal quickly in the second half. Harrell, Damask and Marisa Antuzzi each scored in a four minute span as the Knights jumped to a 7-0 lead.

Spatola scored her third goal in the 50^th minute and Megan Shumate scored in the 50^th minute. Becky Guinto scored her first goal of the season in the final minute of action.

The Knights played excellent defense keeping the Falcons out of their zone for a good amount of time during the game. Neumann allowed just six shots and all three Knights goalies saw action, stopping four shots on goal.

Neumann finishes the regular season 11-8 overall and 5-2 in conference action. The Knights will be the No. 3 seed in postseason and will travel to Gwynedd Mercy next Wednesday for semifinal action.
