ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team will travel to DeSales University in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Southeast Region tournament.

This is the Knights fourth appearance in the ECAC Tournament in the past eight season. Last season, Neumann finished as the runner-up in the tournament, as it hosted the event.

The Knights are the No. 5 seed in the tournament and the Bulldogs are the No. 4 seed. In the other first round matches, No. 2 seed Swarthmore is set to host No. 7 seed Marywood and No. 3 seed Marymount will host No. 6 seed Arcadia. No. 1 seeded Lebanon Valley earned a first round bye.  All winning teams will head to Lebanon Valley this weekend for semifinal and championship action.

This will be the third match up between the Knights and the Bulldogs. In both previous meetings, DeSales pulled away with 3-1 victories. The Knights are to looking to erase the defeats earlier in the season to DeSales in order to advance in the tournament and continue their chance of winning the ECAC Southeast Championship.

The Knights will be leaning heavily on Kelsey D'Imperio who led the team with 362 kills and 109 blocks. They will also lean on Julia Malseed who led the team with 548 digs in the regular season, and Kat Wolf who led the team with 1080 assists.

These two teams will face-off on Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. The winner of this match will go on to face Lebanon Valley on Saturday in the semifinals.
