ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team blanked Manhattanville College 3-0 in ECAC West action on Friday evening.

Matt Zendejas opened the scoring early, 2:55 into the first period as the Knights killed off an early penalty. Doug Rose tallied his first collegiate assist.  With 3:01 left in the first, Shane Topf scored his first goal of the season, unassisted.

Steve Low put Neumann up 3-0 with a shot from the top of the circle. Zac Lazzaro drew the assist at the 8:14 mark of the second period to cap the scoring for the game.

Ben Curley made the 20 saves needed for the shutout as the Knights improve to 2-1-1 overall and 2-1 in conference action. The two teams will face-off again tomorrow evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
