Volleyball to Host Marywood in CSAC Semifinal

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team will host Marywood University on Thursday evening for a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) semifinal match-up.

The Knights are the No. 2 seed in the postseason, after going 10-1 in conference action. The Pacers went 9-2 in CSAC play and are the No. 3 seed. The other semifinal game will feature No. 1 Cabrini hosting No. 5 Immaculata.

Neumann finished regular season 21-11 overall. Senior Kelsey D'Imperio was named the CSAC Player of the Year. She leads the team with 337 kills, 66 block solos and 34 block assists for 100 total blocks. Anna Waltz has tallied 326 kills. Kat Wolf has handed out 1,015 assists. Julia Malseed notched 514 digs to anchor the defense.  
Earlier this season, Neumann defeated Marywood in straight sets, 3-0. Sarah Sanderson led the Knights with 12 kills. The Knights will hope to repeat the same fate and stamp their ticket to their fourth straight CSAC Championship game.

Marywood defeated No. 6 Notre Dame 3-0 in the first round. No. 5 Immaculata upset No. 4 Cairn in the other first round match.

The winners of the semifinal matches will advance to the CSAC Championship game on Saturday. The highest remaining seed will host the Championship match at 5:00 PM.
