ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team will travel to Cabrini College to play for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship on Saturday.
The Knights defeated Marywood University on Thursday evening, 3-1, in semifinal action. The Cavaliers defeated Immaculata 3-0 in the other CSAC game.
Anna Waltz and Kelsey D'Imperio helped the Knights move pass the Pacers with a combined 27 kills in the four sets. Kat Wolf helped with 38 assists. Julia Malseed, Waltz and Wolf combined to have 53 digs.
Earlier this season, Neumann lost to Cabrini in four sets. The Knights are looking to erase the earlier defeat to Cabrini with their sights set on winning the CSAC Championship.
These two teams will meet on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM in Radnor, Pa. The winner will receive the CSAC automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
