ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team fell to Cabrini College in four sets, 3-1, in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship match on Saturday afternoon.

The teams traded the first two set with the Cavaliers winning 25-16 in set one and the Knights winning set two 25-19. Cabrini then won sets three and four, 25-18, 25-16, to win the Championship.

Anna Waltz and Kelsey D'Imperio each had 12 kills for the Knights. Kat Wolf handed out 27 assists. Wolf also tallied 13 digs. Julia Malseed and Danielle Kwapisz each notched 12 and Waltz added 11.

Cabrini won the first set by taking the final six points of the set. In the second set, Neumann jumped out early to a 6-1 lead. Cabrini battled back and the teams ended up tied at 15.The Knights then took the next six points as Wolf was serving. A kill by D'Imperio sealed the win.

The Cavaliers then took back control in the third and fourth set for the match.

Neumann (22-12) will now wait for the ECAC Tournament announcement to see if its season will continue.
