ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team dropped a 3-1 decision to No. 1 Plattsburgh State in ECAC West in action on Saturday evening.

The Cardinals scored a goal in each period in the win. Bek Lucas scored her first collegiate goal 38 seconds into the second period. This tied the game at one.

Plattsburgh went back up 2-1 at the 12:16 mark of the second. The Cardinals scored an insurance goal 4:11 into the third period.

Justina Mayr was again busy in net, making 42 saves in net.

Neumann (0-3, 0-1 ECAC West) and Plattsburgh (2-0-1, 1-0 ECAC West) will meet again tomorrow afternoon. The puck is slated to drop at 2:00 PM.
