CAMDEN, N.J. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team picked up an 18-6 win at Rutgers University – Camden on Thursday afternoon.

Rebecca Dolenti led the Knights with four goals and an assist. Mandy Fedak netted four goals. Gabbey Murray added three goals and an assist. Jordan Hopkins, Shae Risley and Koula Gregor each notched two goals.

Neumann held Rutgers-Camden eight shots on goal. Sam Kotowski started the game and got the win. Christina Hughes made two saves in just over 37 minutes.

The Knights scored nine goals in each half. Dolenti opened the scoring just 45 seconds into the game. Ten minutes went by before another goal was scored. Each team netted two goals in the next 10 minutes for a 3-2 game. In the final 10 minutes of the first half, the Knights scored six goals while the Scarlet Raptors netted three. Neumann scored the final four goals of the half for a 9-5 score at the break.

Neumann stood tall in the second half and only allowed one goal, while scoring nine. The Knights scored four goals in the first five minutes of the second half for a 13-5 advantage and cruised their way to the victory.

Neumann (4-3) hosts Marywood on Saturday in conference action beginning at 12:00 PM.
