ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team defeated Wesley College 21-9 on Monday evening in non-conference action.

Jordan Hopkins led the Knights with five goals. Rebecca Dolenti netted four goals and Lex McIntyre added three goals. Christina Hughes made 11 saves for the win and picked up eight ground balls.

The Knights jumped out to a quick four goal lead just over seven minutes into the game. After the Wolverines scored a goal, the Knights went on to score six straight goals for a 10-1 lead. Neumann held a 12-4 advantage at the half.

Neumann continued its dominance in the second half, netting nine goals, and cruised its way to the 21-9 final.

Neumann (6-3) heads into the thick of conference action, beginning with Gwynedd Mercy on Thursday. Action gets underway at home at 4:00 PM.
