ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell to Catholic University 10-4 on a cold Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.

Chris Scott netted two goals to lead the Knights. Alex Becker made 21 saves and picked up nine ground balls. Ryan Eber won six face-offs and had 10 ground balls.

Scott put the Knights on the board 1:39 into the game. Ryan O'Kane gave the Knights a 2-0 lead two minutes later. The Cardinals netted the next two goals in the first quarter for a tie game after the first 15 minutes.

Catholic netted four goals in the second quarter for six straight and a 6-2 score at halftime.

Jordan Klunk found the back of the net five minutes into the third period. Scott netted his second goal with 6:31 left in the third. Catholic scored the final three goals of the game, and the only one in the fourth quarter, for the 10-4 final.

Neumann (0-3) hosts Regis College on Saturday beginning at 12:00 PM.
