Men's Lacrosse Picks up First CSAC Win at Centenary

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Neumann University men's picked up its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win at Centenary College, 10-8, on Saturday afternoon.

Ryan Lee led the Knights with four goals. Kevin Fonio and Patrick Rose each had two goals and two assists. Ryan O'Kane tallied two goals and an assist. Alex Becker made 12 saves in net.

The first quarter belonged to the Knights as they scored five consecutive goals. In the second quarter, the Cyclones responded with five straight goals as well for a 5-5 game at half time.

The Knights scored the only goal of the third quarter for a 6-5 lead heading into the final 15 minutes.

Neumann scored the first two goals of the fourth quarter for an 8-5 advantage. The Cyclones then netted three goals, tying the game at eight with 2:45 left in regulation.

Lee scored his fourth goal, the eventual game-winner under a minute later. O'Kane tallied an insurance goal with 28 seconds left on the clock to come away with the 10-8 win.

Neumann (4-9, 1-3 CSAC) will finish up the regular season with two home games. The Knights will host Immaculata on Wednesday afternoon in CSAC action. The game gets underway at 4:00 PM.
