RADNOR, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team suffered its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) set-back of the season, 17-9, at Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon.

Gabbey Murray and Mandy Fedak each netted two goals for the Knights. Lexy Wilkinson added two assists. Christina Hughes started the game and made 12 saves in net.

Jordan Hopkins put the Knights on the board first on a free position shot. The Cavaliers responded with the next eight goals for an 8-1 lead. Rebecca Dolenti scored the only other goal for Neumann in the first half. Cabrini held a 14-2 lead at the break.

Neumann held its own in the second half and outscored Cabrini 7-3. The Knights scored the final three goals of the game, but they could not overcome the first half deficit.

Neumann (8-4, 4-1 CSAC) will travel to Cedar Crest on Monday afternoon for CSAC action beginning at 4:00 PM.
