Women's Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day with Win

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team celebrated senior day with a 19-4 win over Centenary College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Wednesday evening.

Before the game, Neumann honored its three seniors: Sam Kotowski, Lexy Wilkinson and Koula Gregor.

Jordan Hopkins scored four goals for the Knights. Gregor had three goals and two assists. Mandy Fedak also netted three goals. Kotowski made six saves in net.

Centenary scored the game's first goal just 13 seconds into the game. Fedak tied the game at one just over a minute later. The teams then traded goals for a 2-2 game before the Knights connected on six straight goals and an 8-2 lead. After the Cyclones were able to net their third goal, the Knights scored five goals to end the half and then the first five goals of the second half for 10 straight goals.

The half time score was 13-3 and Neumann cruised through the second half for the 19-4 CSAC win.

Neumann (10-4, 6-1 CSAC) wraps up the regular season next Thursday when it travels to Rosemont for conference action. The game is slated to begin at 4:00 PM.
