SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell to Marywood University 15-9 on Wednesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Ryan Eber led the Knights with five goals and an assist. Chris Scott added three goals and an assist. Alex Becker made 22 saves in net.

The Knights started the game out strong, scoring four goals in the first quarter and holding a 4-1 lead after 15 minutes of play. The Pacers were then able to net nine unanswered goals in the second quarter to take a 10-4 lead into halftime.

Neumann was able to break its scoreless drought with 4:33 left in the third quarter. The Knights were able to score five of the final seven goals, but they could not overcome the second quarter deficit.

Neumann (2-8, 0-2 CSAC) will host SUNY-Canton on Saturday afternoon. Action begins at 12:00 PM.
