ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse remained perfect in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action with a 20-3 win over Gwynedd Mercy University on Thursday afternoon.

Mandy Fedak led the Knights with five goals. Jordan Hopkins had three goals and three assists. Taylor Klever added three goals and two assists. Rebecca Dolenti also netted three goals. Christina Hughes started the game and made four saves in net for the win.

Neumann came out fast and strong and scored the first goal of the game just 36 seconds after the draw control. Within the first 10 minutes, the Knights had taken a 9-0 lead. Neumann held a 12-0 lead before Gwynedd Mercy was able to break the shutout. The Knights held a 13-1 lead at the break.

The Knights continued their dominance in the second half and came away with the 20-3 win. The victory was a total team effort as nine players found the back of the net.

Neumann (7-3, 3-0 CSAC) will continue conference action and host Notre Dame on Tuesday evening. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
