ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team defeated Notre Dame of Maryland University 17-8 on Tuesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Rebecca Dolenti and Mandy Fedak each netted three goals. Lex McIntyre, Koula Gregor and Lexy Wilkinson each added two goals apiece. Christina Hughes made six saves in net for the win.

The Knights held the pace of the game to begin and scored the first six goals. The teams traded goals over the second part of the first half and Neumann held a 10-3 lead at the break.

Neumann came out and scored the first five goals of the second half for a 15-3 advantage. Notre Dame did not ease up and scored five of the final seven goals of the game. However, the lead the Knights had built was enough to come away with a 17-8 win over the Gators and remain undefeated in conference action.

Neumann (8-3, 4-0 CSAC) travels to Cabrini on Saturday for a battle of the undefeated in CSAC play. Action gets underway at 1:00 PM.
