LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team picked up a convincing 6-0 win at Keystone College as it opened Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday afternoon.

Lindsey Spatola netted two goals and an assist for the Knights. Kenya Woods had a goal and an assist. Summer Sklivas started the game and made one save in net. Nicole Galvin made two saves in net in relief. The Knights outshot the Giants 24-6.

Spatola put the Knights on the board quickly, finding the cage 1:41 into the game off a pass from Jessica Harrell. Jordan Hopkins put Neumann up 2-0 in the 25^th minute off an assist from Woods. The Knights took the 2-0 lead into the break.

Woods put Neumann up 3-0 in the 39^th minute. Marisa Antuzzi and Carolynn Bacho scored in a two-minute span to jump out to a 5-0 lead. Spatola capped the scoring in the 61^st minute.

Neumann (3-5, 1-0 CSAC) travels to Marywood next Saturday for more CSAC action beginning at 1:00 PM.
