SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team defeated Marywood University 3-2 in double overtime on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Lindsey Spatola scored the only goal of the first half, coming in the 31^st minute. Jessica Harrell notched the assist.

Marywood tied the game at one in the 42^nd minute. Jordan Hopkins gave Neumann back the lead in the 56^th minute as she stuffed in a rebound. The Pacers tied the game at two with 1:12 left in regulation to send the game to overtime.

In the beginning of the first overtime, Katie Bauer had a defensive save to keep the game knotted at two. Just over a minute into the second overtime, Marisa Antuzzi had a breakaway and found the back of the cage to give the Knights the 3-2 CSAC win.

Nicole Galvin made seven saves in net for Neumann.

Neumann (4-5, 2-0 CSAC) hosts Albright on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action. The game is slated to get underway at 4:00 PM.
