ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team hung on for a 3-2 win against Albright College on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Lindsey Spatola had a goal and an assist. Summer Sklivas made eight saves in net. Jillian DeFina notched a defensive save.

The first half featured two penalty strokes, one for each team. Spatola scored on her attempt in the 23^rd minute. Albright then converted its penalty stroke in the 31^st minute.

Early in the second half, Jessica Harrell found the back of the net for a 2-1 Knights lead. Tw minutes later, Jordan Hopkins put a pass from Spatola into the cage for a 3-1 Neumann advantage.

The Lions got back to within one in the 43^rd minute. Albright would try its best to even the score, even outshooting Neumann 17-7. However the Knights stood together and came away with the 3-2 win to even their season record.

Neumann (5-5) hosts Immaculata in conference action on Saturday beginning at 1:00 PM.
