GENESEO, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team and SUNY-Geneseo played to a 2-2 draw in overtime on Saturday evening in non-conference action.

Liam Board put the Knights on the board just 58 seconds into the game. Ryan Luiten and Shayne Morrissey handed out the assists. Matt Mazzarolo gave Neumann a 2-0 lead at the 6:07 mark. Zac Lazzaro and Casey Rogers tallied the assists.

That was all the offense Neumann would get in the game. Geneseo pulled to within one with 1:17 left before the first intermission. Geneseo would tie the game 2:59 into the second period. Neither team would be able to light the lamp again.

Ben Curley made 36 saves in net. Both teams went 0-for-5 on the man advantage.

Neumann (8-5-3) gets back to conference action next weekend when it hosts Utica for a pair of games. Action gets underway at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
