CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell in a close 1-0 game at Cortland on Saturday afternoon in ECAC West action.

The teams played two scoreless periods before anyone could find the back of the net. The only goal of the game came 45 seconds into the third period for the Red Dragons.

Both teams were unsuccessful on the power play with Neumann going 0-for-6 and Cortland 0-for-5.

Justina Mayr made 39 saves in net. Neumann (3-13-1, 1-10 ECAC West) and Cortland (3-11-1, 2-6-1 ECAC West) will face-off again tomorrow afternoon beginning at 2:00 PM.
