GENEVA, N.Y. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey team dropped a 3-2 decision at Hobart College on Saturday evening in ECAC West action.

Mike Davis scored both goals for the Knights. Matt Gibney made 35 saves in net.

The Statesmen scored four minutes into the game and the added a second goal just a minute and a half later. Davis scored his first goal of the game, on the man advantage, at the 15:41 mark of the first. Steve Low and Brandon Gagne tallied the assists.

Hobart scored 2:48 into the second period for 3-1 game. Davis netted his second goal of the game 5:56 into the third period to cut the lead to one. Mikko Virtanen and Anthony Pino had the assists.

The Knights pulled the goalie to try and score the equalizer as the clock was winding down, but could not get the puck to the net.

Neumann (9-7-4, 5-4-1 ECAC West) will travel to Elmira next weekend for a pair of conference games. The puck is slated to drop at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
