ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team shutout Summit University 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Christian Cortese opened the scoring in the 20
th minute as he headed in a ball from
Andrew Kelly.
Jake McDevitt put Neumann up 2-0 in the 65
th minute. Cortese served the ball that went off of
Thiago Cruz and McDevitt put it in the net.
The Knights outshot the Defenders 16-3.
Shane Smith made two saves in net for the shutout.
Neumann (3-7-2, 2-3-1 CSAC) will travel to Johns Hopkins on Wednesday for non-conference action beginning at 4:00 PM.
