BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University men's soccer team loss a close 2-1 decision at Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday afternoon.
Jake McDevitt scored for the Knights.
Perry Corsetti made the start in net and made six saves.
Johns Hopkins opened the scoring in the sixth minute. McDevitt intercepted the ball and scored in the 32
nd minute to tie the game.
The teams remained tied until the 66
th minute when the Blue Jays were able to break the tie. Johns Hopkins was able to hang on for the 2-1 win.
Neumann (3-8-2) will get back into conference action on Saturday when it travels to Gwynedd Mercy. The game is slated to begin at 12:00 PM.
