ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team dropped a 1-0 decision to Keystone College on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
The lone goal in the game came in the eighth minute as the Giants put the ball in the back of the cage off of a rebound and scrum in front of the net.
The Knights held the play for the game, but could not find the back of the net. Neumann outshot Keystone 22-5 overall and 14-2 on goal.
Jessica Harrell led the Knights with five shots.

Chelsea Kulesza each had four shots.
Alexa McIntyre had a defensive save as time was winding down in the second half to keep the Knights within striking distance. Neumann was awarded 13 penalty corners.
Neumann (6-5, 1-1 CSAC) heads to Gwynedd Mercy for more CSAC action on Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30 PM.
