ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's ice hockey is set to open the 2015-16 season on Friday evening as it hosts Daniel Webster College at 7:00 PM.

The Knights will open the season ranked No. 14 in the d3hockey.com preseason poll. Neumann finished last season 14-9-4 overall and 9-5-1 in ECAC West action. The Knights were the conference runners-up, falling to Hobart 2-1 in overtime.

The Knights return four of their top five point getters from the 214-15 season. Shayne Morrissey paced Neumann with eight goals and a team-leading 16 assists. Mike Davis lit the lamp 13 times last season and finished with 20 points. Jory Mullin had 11 goals and six assists while Doug Rose added eight goals and eight assists.

Wrapping up the opening weekend, the Knights will host Salve Regina at 4:00 PM on Saturday.
