ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team dropped its final home game of the regular season 4-1 to Stevenson University on Tuesday evening in non-conference action.

Stevenson scored the only goal of the first period at the 16:19 mark. Neumann responded with the lone goal of the second period. Megan Russelo scored an unassisted goal at the 9:00 minute mark to tie the game at one.

The Mustangs netted two goals in a 20 second span midway through the third period to take a quick 3-1 lead. The Knights pulled the goalie as an effort to score, but Stevenson was able to notch an empty net goal with 1:12 left in regulation to seal the win.

Stevenson outshot Neumann 35-24. Chelsea Polidoro made 31 saves in net for the Knights.

Neumann (6-15-2) wraps up the regular season next weekend when it travels to Chatham for a pair of ECAC West games. Action gets underway on Friday, February 20 at 8:00 PM and at 12:00 PM on Saturday.
