ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team fell to Richard Stockton College on Wednesday evening 17-3.

Junior Jordan Klunk led the way for Neumann tallying a goal, assist, and eight shots. Ron Lassiter and Ricky Viscuse also scored a goal for the Knights. Four Knights picked up five ground balls.

Antonio Gibson started in net and made eight saves in net during the first half. He also picked up six ground balls. Tom Blakeslee made seven saves in net during the second half.

Stockton was tough and scored eight goals in the first quarter. The Ospreys scored the first goal of the second quarter to take a 9-0 lead. Vicsue put the Knights on the board at the 11:30 mark of the second. Stockton ended the half with three goals to take a 12-1 lead into halftime.

The Ospreys scored the only goals of the third quarter for a 14-1 advantage.

Klunk scored his goal with 5:24 left in the fourth quarter to start five goals in the final five minutes. Lassiter scored less than a minute later for cap the Knights scoring.

Richard Stockton edged Neumann in groundballs, 48-47.

Neumann (0-4) hosts Lebanon Valley College on Saturday afternoon starting at 4:00 PM.
