Men's Lacrosse Falls at Home to Lebanon Valley

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's lacrosse team lost to Lebanon Valley College 18-2 on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action.

Jordan Klunk and Ryan O'Kane scored the only goals for the Knights. Klunk also tallied one assist. Rob Neri picked up six ground balls. Antonio Gibson started the game in net making 15 saves. Tom Blakeslee replaced Gibson recording eight saves and picked up eight ground balls.

The first goal did not come until the 6:38 mark when Klunk put the Knights up 1-0. The Dutchman scored two straight giving them a one goal lead after the first quarter.


One minute and thirty seconds into the second quarter O'Kane scored on an assist from Klunk to tie the game up at two. That was all of the scoring the Knights were able to tally. Lebanon Valley would go on to score 16 unanswered goals to solidify the win.

Neumann (0-5) hosts Marywood University on Tuesday to kick off conference action. The game is slated to begin at 4:00 PM.
