GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Neumann University women's lacrosse team was defeated in the second game of the season on Monday afternoon 17-7 to Arcadia University.

Rebecca Dolenti steered the way for the Knights scoring with four goals. Diana Caicedo added two goals. Freshman Gabby Curry made 10 saves in net in her first collegiate start.

Neumann let up the first four goals of the game.  Dolenti scored her first goal of the game with 7:46 left in the first half. Jordan Hopkins followed with the Knights' second goal of the game. However, that was all Neumann would be able to put on the scoreboard in the first half and Arcadia entered the half up eight, 10-2.

Dolenti scored the first two goals of the second half in the first six minutes cutting the deficit to six. Arcadia was able to score the next three goals to take back its larger lead. Although the Knights were trailing, Caicedo scored the game's last goal with 1:21 left on the clock, but it wasn't enough.

Neumann (0-2) will host Elizabethtown College Wednesday evening. Action gets underway 7:00 PM. ?
