Women's Lacrosse Wraps Up CSAC Play with W

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - The Neumann University women's lacrosse team picked up a 24-8 win over Centenary College on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Jordan Hopkins and Amanda Fedak led the Knights with five goals each. Hopkins also added three assists. Rebecca Dolenti netted four goals and two assists. Shae Risley tallied three goals and Diana Caicedo added two.

Gabby Curry started the game and made three saves in the first half. Becca Wallace also made three saves in relief in the second half.

Neumann did not waste anytime starting the game as it took a 10-0 lead 10 minutes into the game. The Knights held a 15-3 lead at the half.

Centenary opened the second half by scoring the first three goals. The Knights answered with the next seven goals. The teams traded goals down the stretch, but Neumann held its comfortable lead for the 24-8 final.

Neumann (10-4, 8-1 CSAC) heads to the College of New Jersey on Thursday for non-conference action to wrap up the regular season.
