Women's Lacrosse Hosts Immaculata in CSAC Semifinal Action

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team is the No. 2 seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) postseason.

The Knights will host No. 3 seeded Immaculata University in a semifinal game on Wednesday, April 29 beginning at 7:00 PM. Neumann ended the regular season with an overall 10-4 and 8-1 in the CSAC.

This is Neumann's fourth straight year recording double digit wins and the fifth straight year that they have made the CSAC postseason.


Neumann will rely heavily on CSAC First Team Honoree Jordan Hopkins and Second Team Honoree Amanda Fedak in their postseason run. Hopkins led the team with 47 goals and 13 points for a combined 60 points. Five of Hopkins 47 goals have been game winners. Fedak was second on the team with 37 goals and 43 points and fourth in assists with six.

Neumann defeated Immaculata 15-10 in its contest in March. Hopkins had five goals and two assists while four other Knights scored two goals.  CSAC Rookie of the Year Gabby Curry recorded 12 saves in the victory for the Knights.

The other semifinal contest will see No. 1 seed Cabrini host No. 4 seed Marywood. The winners of the semifinal games will face off on Saturday at the highest remaining seed.
