CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team defeated Wilson College 2-1 on Friday evening in non-conference action.
Jessica Harrell and 
Shae Risley scored for the Knights. 
Becky Guinto and 
Alexa McIntyre each had a defensive save. 
Becca Wallace made eight saves in net.
Neumann opened the scoring in the ninth minute as Risley scored off an assist from 
Chelsea Kulesza. Harrell added an unassisted goal in the 21
st minute and the Knights took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Phoenix cut the Knights lead in half in the 67
th minute, but Neumann held off Wilson and came away with the 2-1 win.
"This a good win", says head coach 
Sarah Kurpel. "We are still ironing out all of our offensive wrinkles but we are continuing to make progress."
Neumann (3-3) will host Moravian on Monday afternoon in non-conference action beginning at 5:00 PM.
