Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball dropped pair of matches to start the Knights Invitational on Friday evening. The Knights fell to Swarthmore 3-1 and then dropped a 3-0 decision to Salisbury.

The Knights opened the afternoon by taking the first set from Swarthmore 25-22. The Garnet came back to take the next three sets 25-11, 25-20, 25-20.

Julia Malseed led the Knights with 11 kills and 23 digs. Sarah Sanderson added 10 kills and hit .455. Anna Waltz tallied 17 digs. Kristine Quinn had 15 and Nikki Collevechio added 13. Kat Wolf handed out 37 assists.

Neumann ended the night with a 3-0 loss to Salisbury. The Knights battled in the first set, but came up just short 25-23. Salisbury took sets two and three 25-12 and 25-18. Neumann evenly distributed the kills and digs in the match. Wolf dished out 18 assists.

Neumann (5-6) will face Lebanon Valley tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM and then finish the pool play at either 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM.
