BALTIMORE, Md. – The Neumann University women's basketball picked up an 88-45 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win at Notre Dame of Maryland University on Thursday evening.

Nafisa Saunders led four Knights in double-digits with 18 points. All 11 members on the court contributed to the scoreboard. Lauren Legler scored 14 points. AAliya Hayes and JoHanna Metzger each added 13 points. Metzger also grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double.

The Knights held the biggest lead of the first quarter, 18-10 and would take a 19-12 lead after the first 10 minutes. Neumann put the pressure on during the second quarter and outscored Notre Dame 30-12 for a 49-24 lead at halftime.

Neumann continued to slowly build its lead throughout the second half to come away with the 88-45 conference win.

Neumann (5-8, 3-1 CSAC) will host Cabrini on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00 PM.
