ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie with Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) rival Cedar Crest College on Wednesday afternoon.

Anna Attardi notched a shutout for the Knights, making one save in net on the day.
Lexi Casper led Neumann with 11 shots, including five on goal.
Neumann controlled play throughout, but had a tough time finishing its opportunities. Despite numerous chances to score, the game would head to halftime tied at 0-0. The first half would end with the Knights outshooting Cedar Crest by a 10-0 margin.
The second half saw more territorial domination from the Knights, but once again the team was unable to solve the Cedar Crest defense. Neumann piled on nine more shot attempts but once again came away empty handed. The Knights would finish regulation with a 19-0 edge in shots.
The overtime period saw the Knights continue to pepper the Falcons goal. Neumann had two quality opportunities to win the match as
Grace Stauffer rung the crossbar in the 96
th minute and Casper had a shot just tipped over the bar in the 97
th minute. Despite all of the chances for Neumann, the game would end in a 0-0 draw. Shots for the game finished 28-3 in favor of the Knights.
Neumann (7-5-1, 4-2-1 CSAC) returns to the field on Saturday, October 15
th for a matchup versus CSAC rival Centenary University. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
