ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team blanked Notre Dame of Maryland University 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Lexi Casper opened the scoring in the 21
st minute as she chipped the ball over the Gator goalie.
Brooke Harvey tallied the assist. The Knights took a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Jamie King doubled the Knights lead in the 70
th minute off a pass from
Taylor Garman.
Ashley Francis gave Neumann an insurance goal in the 75
th minute.
Lindsey Padilla had her shot tip off the goalie and the post to the waiting Francis who put the ball in the back of the net.
The Knights outshot the Gators 29-1 overall and 13-0 on net.

Ashley McNabb helped anchor the defense, along with keeper
Anna Attardi as the freshman picked up the shutout.
Neumann (8-6-1, 5-3-1 CSAC) will head on the road for the final two games of the regular season. The Knights will travel Keystone on Saturday for CSAC action beginning at 5:30 PM.
