SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matchup to Marywood University 6-0 on Thursday evening.

Anna Attardi and
Kristen Montgomery combined for 12 saves in the loss, which dropped the Knights to the sixth seed for the CSAC playoffs.
Neumann fell behind early, conceding two goals in the game's opening minute. Marywood would keep pressing in the opening half, and tacked on three more tallies before halftime to take a 5-0 lead into the break.
The Knights would keep battling in the second half, but would fall by a score of 6-0. Shots for the game finished with the Pacers holding a 29-7 advantage.
Neumann (9-7-1, 6-4-1 CSAC) finishes the regular season as the sixth seed in the CSAC playoffs. The Knights will open up postseason play on Monday, as they will head to third-seeded Centenary University on Monday, October 31
st in the first round of the CSAC playoffs.
