SWARTHMORE, Pa – The Neumann University women's volleyball team's season came to an end in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament on Wednesday afternoon, falling to Moravian 3-0. Set scores were 25-18, 25-14, 25-11.
 
Early in the first set, Moravian took a 4-1 lead. Neumann battled back and, on a kill by 
Carlee Herrin, took a 5-4 lead. The teams traded points. With the score tied at seven, the Greyhounds score seven straight points. 
Hayley Glah tallied a kill to break the streak. Moravian took the first set 25-18.
 
The second set was much like the first set. Moravian took an 8-6 lead and increased it to 13-6. The Greyhounds continued the pressure and took set two 25-14.
 
In the final set, again the match was much like the first two. With the score tied at four, Moravian scored eight of the next nine points for a 12-5 lead. The Greyhounds then scored six straight points for a 21-8 game and took the match with a 25-11 score.
 
The match marked the conclusion of the collegiate careers of 
Megan McGarrigle, 
Nikki Collevechio and 
Jessica Winn. Neumann finishes the season 18-18.
