ASTON, Pa. – Neumann University men's basketball game defeated Keystone University 93-71 on Monday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Darian Barnes had a triple- double for the Knights with 14 rebounds, 16 points, and 10 blocks. The junior went 8-10 on the line.
James Butler and
DeShawn Lowman each had 15 points.
Denzel Yard added 14 points and
Tyaire Hudson netted 13. All twelve Neumann players made an appearance on the court and grabbed at least a rebound.
The Knights opened the game scoring 11 out of the first 13 points. Halfway through, Neumann doubled-up Keystone, 22-11 pulling away the lead. While holding a 43-29 lead, the Knights ended the half on a 13-2 run for 56-31 lead at halftime.
The Knights played everyone in the first half and maintained the double-digit lead to cruise to the 93-71 win over the Giants.
Neumann (13-6, 9-3 CSAC) will travel to Gwynedd Mercy on Wednesday evening for more CSAC action starting at 7:00 PM.
