ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Neumann women's basketball team defeated Cedar Crest College 80-48 on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match-up.

JoHanna Metzger grabbed a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Lauren Legler scored 22 points, including three three-pointers, and had five steals.
Nafisa Saunders added 13 points and
Sarah Roberts netted 12.

Neumann started the quarter on a 12-2 run for an early double-digit lead. The Falcons answered back, scoring the next seven point, 12-9. The Knights held Cedar Crest to two points for the rest of the quarter for a 21-11 lead. In the second quarter, Neumann continued to build their lead and took an 18 point advantage, 41-23, into halftime. Â

The Knights came out on fire in the third quarter and scored the first eight points. Neumann continued to hold its lead it built in the first half to come away with the 80-48 win. The win is the Knights' fourth straight victory.

Neumann (13-10, 11-3 CSAC) will host Immaculata on Wednesday in CSAC action starting at 6:00 PM.
